My journey to becoming an author

Amy Johnson is an author, women’s wellness coach, and founder of Grace Guidance. Her writing explores healing, transformation, desire, faith, self-discovery, resilience, and the hidden truths people carry beneath the surface.

After years of writing as a way to process her own healing journey, Amy began shaping pieces of her story into a more creative path. Her work now blends emotional depth with powerful storytelling, moving between sensual magical romance and psychological suspense.

She is currently writing The Infinite Becoming Series, a sensual magical romance series filled with enchanted forests, ancient healers, powerful priestesses, wounded souls, forbidden knowledge, and love that transforms everything it touches. She is also the author of Where the Silence Ends, a psychological thriller that explores truth, survival, and the stories buried beneath silence.

Amy is the creator of The Gentle Year Collection, a series of guided journals designed to help readers reflect, grow, and move through each season with intention and grace.

Through both fiction and guided reflection, Amy writes for readers who crave emotional depth, healing, mystery, magic, and stories that remind them they are still becoming.

Beyond the page: my passions

Beyond writing, I am a passionate reader, lifelong learner, and creative at heart. I have a deep love for personal growth, healing, faith, and understanding the many layers that make us who we are. These interests have led me through years of self-discovery, wellness coaching, recovery, and studying topics like parts work, inner child healing, and conscious living.

I live in Alaska with my family and two dogs, where I enjoy spending time outdoors, walking local trails, and appreciating the beauty of the changing seasons. When I am not working or writing, you can often find me curled up with a good book, hosting book club discussions, creating guided journals, crafting, quilting, or exploring new art projects.

One of my favorite traditions is maintaining friendships with pen pals from around the world. In a fast-paced digital age, I treasure the slower, more intentional connection that comes through handwritten letters, shared stories, and meaningful conversations.

Whether I am writing, creating art, sewing a quilt, journaling, or sending a letter across the globe, I am drawn to things that help people feel seen, connected, and understood. Those same values shape every page I write.

Above all, I am a mother, a storyteller, and someone who believes that our most difficult chapters often become the very stories that help others feel less alone.

"Amy's profound journey of self-discovery resonates deeply, offering a powerful message of acceptance and healing for every reader."
